We identified that in Linux, when the user performs a password reset or the password expires, the user assigned to the computer is no longer visible, making it impossible for the user to log in and change the password.
Do you have an explanation why this happens to Linux users?

Generally, when a password is reset or expired, it tends to invalidate the active user sessions. This invalidation might terminate the user's session, thus appearing "invisible" to the user until a fresh logon is accomplished with a new password. In a way, rigorously enforcing a login again gives confidence in security.
