I have a user who does not have the expected JumpCloud icon in his task tray. Due to this, he is unable to reset his password within an active session.
I know that there are a half-dozen other ways for him to reset his password, but I am extremely uninterested in having to reinstall his S/MIME certificate plus other government-facing security certificates because the other methods don't occur within the confines of the active Windows session.
Any tips or assistance would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

Just an FYI, we have not been able to resolve this issue yet. Any ideas?

Hi Jack - the JumpCloud tray icon only is present on managed users on managed devices. Is this a user managed by JumpCloud?

Using elevated CMD, first run SFC /scannow and then chkdsk /r /f - it solved this issue for me.
