Along with the launch of JumpCloud’s community platform, we are excited to also introduce admins to our meetups program.
An initiative under the community umbrella, the meetups program aims to bring the virtual collaboration we see in the Slack Lounge and forums to life. Within our Meetup Network, we kickstarted the program with ten groups - Austin, Boston, Chicago, Denver, DC, London, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, and Seattle. Last month, we hosted inaugural virtual events in each of these cities, where we were able to have interactive discussions with admins about all things tech.
While we line up topics to get the conversations started, the meetups are less structured than typical events. The main goal is to create a unique environment for IT admins to engage in collaboration with their peers - from sharing best practices to solving real-world problems.
As we continue to build the program, we plan to expand the network to include more cities. This week, we created four additional groups to now include Atlanta, Houston, Raleigh, and San Diego. In addition, while most of our events remain virtual out of an abundance of caution, we look forward to planning unique in-person events for admins to gather and network in a physical setting.
If you are interested in getting involved with Meetups or have any questions or suggestions, don’t hesitate to reach out! Drop us a note at community@jumpcloud.com.
