Celebrating one year of meetups! It’s been a year since we launched this program and I want to thank everyone who has been a part of it. In this time:
Grown from 88 to over 800 network members
Expanded from 10 to 20 cities (including six additional countries)
Hosted over 50 meetups
Met with more than 300 IT pros across the world
It’s been so much fun but we’re just getting started! SO, in order to keep improving, we will be sending out a survey to our meetup and community members to gauge what’s working, what’s not, and what we’d like to see moving forward. Be on the lookout for that this month.

Compliance
Thanks to @JCDavid for joining us today for a discussion around compliance. David recently wrote a blog article ("What is Cloud Compliance") which can be found here and a community article ("Diet Cola Compliance is Here") which you can read here.
You can also check out JumpCloud's Compliance Quickstart Guides for access to resources and to learn more about implementing best practices:
National Cybersecurity Strategy: software liability reform part of it… big shift. Minimum standards. Crack down on big vendors that ship insecure software. (cyberscoop)
BetterHelp sharing data with Facebook: Teladoc Health Inc.’s online mental health unit will be banned from sharing health information with Facebook parent Meta Platforms Inc. and other social media companies under a proposed settlement with US trade regulators. (bloomberg)
Beverage “Printer”: From sodas to cold brews to cocktails, this machine can make virtually any cold beverage -- and lets you adjust sugar, caffeine and alcohol levels, too. (cnet)
