Hi everyone
I would like to integrate Automation of onboarding process between Jira and Jumpcloud. For example to automate create users with Jira ticket.
I've read some article about it, for example about using Multiplier.
But is it possible to do this Initiative without using plugins like Multiplier?
Does anyone have an thought?
I need your advice
Thank you everyone

I’ve had some experience automating onboarding between Jira and Jumpcloud, and it can definitely be done without plugins like Multiplier. What worked for me was setting up a Jira epic to track the onboarding process and automate certain actions via API calls. I found using Jira’s native automation rules really helpful for creating users and linking them to specific tickets. It wasn’t too difficult once I set up some basic workflows and triggers to push updates between Jira and Jumpcloud.
A while back, I did something similar for a project, and it saved us so much time on manual processes. If you’re comfortable with a bit of scripting, I’d recommend looking into Jira’s REST API—it can give you more flexibility without relying on third-party plugins.
