Is there a way to configure a specific timeout length for a specific application's authentication session in Jumpcloud?

hey alex,

you can set user portal session duration in the Settings portion of your admin portal. this setting will sometimes be passed along to the application to inform session setting timeout therein, but more often than not this value is not passed as part of the SAML assertion, & must be specified in the application's settings itself.

"Important Considerations

  • The duration settings apply only to the JumpCloud User Portal. In many cases, setting duration must be defined on the Service Provider side (ex: AWS, Slack etc)."
