Recent events have compelled The Department of Homeland Security's CISA office to declare "shields up" for cyber defenses. It's published a handy list of free CISO tools to protect your devices, data, and network as part of that effort. My former ZDNet colleague Charlie wrote about them in detail here. CISA's list (that's a lot of acronyms) covers the following topics:
Reducing the likelihood of a damaging cyber incident;
Detecting malicious activity quickly;
Responding effectively to confirmed incidents; and
Maximizing resilience.
