Hey MSP folks,
I know that Thanksgiving just went by (hope you guys had a great one too!), but I figured that after reading this, you’ll have plenty more to be thankful for. Having joined the JC community (and the IT world, in general) a few weeks ago, I can safely vouch for the fact that it’s tough to keep up with all the latest trends in the MSP industry.
But don’t worry, this humble scribe has been perusing through multiple news channels (sorry, didn’t find a term for this in old English) to bring you the latest word on MSPs at your behest and get a headstart for 2025. So, onward ho!
2024 has been a turnaround for MSPs in many ways, with over three-quarters (76%) of SMEs relying on them for managing their IT sector. As more and more organizations continue adapting MSPs, the latter must find new ways to stay in the competition as well as grow further.
That said, here’s a list of some future trends that will help shape MSPs in 2025:
Managed Detection and Response (MDR) is the need of the hour, with businesses facing multiple cyber threats and data breaches every minute. This article by MSP Today focuses on the benefits MDR can have for MSPs, including early threat detection and round-the-clock-monitoring.
Interested in learning more? Then register for this 45-minute session “Leveraging MDR: Proactive Threat Hunting for MSPs” in MSP Expo 2025, which will be held from 11-13 February 2025.
On that note, we will see these top MSPs dominating the industry in 2025 according to Imaginary Cloud, a top player in the field itself. Apart from their ranking, this piece also sheds light on various factors for organizations to consider while choosing an MSP, including a checklist, benefits of partnerships with one, and further steps to integrate with them seamlessly.
While all MSPs might originate due to a common need (helping organizations with their IT management), they need to stand out to shine in the industry (and to outshine each other as well).
Read this blog to go through David DeCamillis’ insights and efforts to help MSPs establish unique brand identities through sales, marketing, and staying updated on the latest innovation.
And…that’s it! I hope this news brief was able to provide a clear picture on what to expect as an MSP next year. As for any updates, you can always count on the JumpCloud blog to have the latest talk of this town. Now this scribe must take your leave to come back bearing tidings on MSPs another time. Farewell, my friends!
