- FYI the workaround on this is to have not already installed it, then install a driver update, then go back and install the Windows Update. The way we manage patches in JumpCloud doesn’t allow for a ‘don’t patch my device’ window at this time. So use caution around how we suggest solving this issue with JumpCloud.
- OR wait to update until Microsoft fixes the bug and releases an updated patch
- If they installed the update w/o the driver update first and get a blue screen: it’s boot to safe mode and repair time.
