Zero Trust networking for companies with devices they don’t control
Supports eSIM
Allows you to protect all your mobile network traffic, in exchange for routing it through CF
Goes through the history of ZTN tactics from domain based to perimeter based (east-west) to OSI Model ( north-south) back to east-west but with more logic and considering the user and the device as separate entities. Highly recommend this article for those interested in a quick yet rich Network Security lesson.
FYI the workaround on this is to have not already installed it, then install a driver update, then go back and install the Windows Update. The way we manage patches in JumpCloud doesn’t allow for a ‘don’t patch my device’ window at this time. So use caution around how we suggest solving this issue with JumpCloud.
OR wait to update until Microsoft fixes the bug and releases an updated patch
If they installed the update w/o the driver update first and get a blue screen: it’s boot to safe mode and repair time.
